SINGAPORE
 Malesian niemimaan kärjessä sijaitseva Singapore, joka oli mukana Malesian liittovaltiossa vuosina 1963-65 on edelleenkin hyvin läheisissä suhteissa Malesiaan.
Singaporen tasavalta koostuu pääsaaresta Singaporesta sekä 58 pikkusaaresta, joista n. 20 on asuttuja. Puolet maan pinta-alasta on kaupunkialuetta.
Singapore on suosittu pysähdyspaikka niin loma- kuin liikematkailijoillekin. Monen matka Malesiaan menee Singaporen kautta. Myös jotkin Malesian kotimaanlennot kulkevat Singaporen kautta.
